tina peters’ new ‘common sense’ traffic idea makes me want to move out of this town.
I’m sorry, but can ANYONE explain the thought process behind this? I was stuck behind tina peters’ new traffic flow trial on Main Street this morning. The lights are literally staying red for TWO MINUTES when there are NO cars coming from the other direction. The solution was to "add more common sense," but apparently common sense means standing still like a lemon while an empty lane has a green light for 90 seconds. And the detour signs? Half of them are pointing into a dead-end lane. Embarrassing. If this is the future, I’m honestly worried for the safety of our kids and the ability of emergency vehicles to get through. Needs a complete reversal tomorrow.
