SCOTT PELLEY COULDN'T FIND HIS WAY OUT OF A PAPER BAG, BUT OUR CITY COUNCIL WANTS US TO BELIEVE HE'S A "MEDIA EXPERT."
It's just common sense, folks. We're paying these consultants thousands of our tax dollars for "communications training" while our potholes could swallow a small car. I saw the city's new press release—it's full of buzzwords like "synergy" and "stakeholder engagement," but the police scanner still crackles with the same old nonsense. If Scott Pelley needs a teleprompter to read the weather, why should we trust him to teach our elected officials how to talk to us? Use your common sense: go outside and look at the dead grass on the town square. That's what matters, not some CBS has-been's opinion on "messaging."
