Seriously, rhode island just dropped over $50k in taxpayer money on stupid decorative bollards outside some new downtown boutique that sells $200 candles. Meanwhile, the pothole on my street is big enough to swallow a Smart car. Common sense is dead. But hey, at least the rich people will have a safe place to park their Teslas while I dodge craters on my commute. Maybe the mayor can sell a few of those "artisan" candles to fund the next road repair. Embarrassing.
