Anthropic IPO? More Like a Common Sense Check We Desperately Need
Honestly, did we learn nothing from the dot-com bubble? Now we’re supposed to get excited about an Anthropic IPO? This is the company that trained an AI to be "harmless" and "honest," but can’t even tell you if your wife is mad at you. Common sense says we’re rushing to hand over our pension funds to a glorified chatbot that can write a haiku but can’t fix a leaky faucet. I’ve got a better investment: buy a shovel and start digging a bunker. At least the return on that is a few more years of sanity.
