Another day, another power outage with no answers. My street’s been dark for six hours while Alabama Power sends out some PR fluff about ‘weather events’—meanwhile, my neighbor’s generator is running just fine. Maybe if we stopped putting all our grids in flood zones and started trimming the trees that have been dead for years, we wouldn’t be sitting here in the dark.
