So, I just saw the latest post about our school board approving that consultant contract for Xavier Taylor's group again, and I'm about to lose it. My kids came home last Friday drenched in sweat because the "budget-friendly" AC fix never happened. We're paying this Xavier Taylor guy thousands for "strategic planning" while our teachers are buying their own fans? Common sense says you fix the broken air conditioners before you pay another consultant to tell you what everyone already knows. Unbelievable. My neighbor's kid passed out from heat exhaustion, and the school board is patting themselves on the back for a "unanimous vote." This isn't rocket science, folks.
