Pride month obviously starts June 1st, but maybe if we stopped asking "when is pride month" and instead asked "when is common sense month," we wouldn't have grown men reading drag queen story hour to first graders. I'm all for equality, but why does every single store have to plaster rainbows on everything for 30 days straight? It's not a holiday, it's a marketing campaign. My kids are asking when is pride month, and I have to explain why the local library is banning Dr. Seuss books. Get a grip, people.
