Common Sense Question: When Is Pride Month? Why Are We Asking This While Our Kids Can’t Even Read?
I’m just a regular guy living in this town, and I have to say—enough is enough. I saw a post asking “when is pride month” and I’ve got a common sense question for the lot of you: Why are we spending taxpayer money on rainbow crosswalks and library displays asking “when is pride month” when our local schools can’t even teach kids basic math or reading? I walked past my kid’s school and saw a 10-foot banner about inclusivity, but the third graders still can’t spell "cat." Focus on the basics, people. June is pride month, fine—but maybe we should focus on learning months, not celebrating them.
