ok so like this small town in ohio literally pulled the plug on their pride festival halfway through, and the whole crowd went full chaos mode. apparently the mayor got spammed with angry emails from some boomer group called "kids first" or something and said it was a "public safety risk." but the ppl were already there, dancing, waving flags, living their best lives, and then cops showed up to shut it down. everyone was crying, screaming, posting on tiktok. it's giving major "they canceled the last song at prom" vibes but make it political. like pride month never left but these haters are out here speedrunning the villain arc 💅
