So I’m minding my business, checking the town page, when I see they posted the June calendar 2026 for the community center. Turns out they scheduled a “mandatory” budget meeting for the very first day of summer vacation. My kids are out of school, I’ve got a camping trip planned since February, and these geniuses think we’ll just drop everything to hear them argue over paper clips.
And let’s not ignore the real kicker: they marked July 4th as “regular business hours” on that same calendar. Honestly, between the parking lot fiasco and this, I’m starting to think the town council prints these schedules with a dartboard and a blindfold. Somebody wake me up when common sense makes a comeback.
