Chicago Bears Fans Get What They Deserve: Another ‘Rebuilding’ Year as Ticket Prices Hit $500
As a lifelong south side resident, I don’t need a sports analyst to tell me what common sense already says: the Chicago Bears are a cash grab dressed in navy and orange. Today’s “viral news” is that season tickets are up to $500 a pop. Unbelievable. My neighbor just paid that for a single seat to watch a team that hasn’t won a playoff game since I was in high school. The owners are laughing all the way to the bank while we’re here freezing in the stands. Common sense says don’t buy the hype, but hey, you rubes keep filling that stadium and they’ll keep charging. Smarten up.
