"It was like a scene from a bad movie," Thompson posted in the "Oakdale Moms & Dads" group. "People were screaming about aliens, government chemtrails, and calling the police. Meanwhile, I’m watching my kids’ soccer practice get cancelled because the field was a 'potential landing zone.' It took a bored high schooler to figure out they were just runaway decorations from a 'Bonnie Blue Baby Shower' at the community center on Elm Street." Thompson is now calling for a strict "No Helium" ordinance for any party within a 5-mile radius of any main road. "It’s just common sense," he fumed.
