Alabama Power Outage Shows Why Common Sense Is Dead, City Workers Clueless as Usual
Just saw on the news that half of Birmingham is sitting in the dark AGAIN because someone "hit a main line." Oh, come on! How does a grown adult "accidentally" hit a power line with a backhoe? Maybe if those workers actually watched where they were going instead of staring at their phones, we wouldn't have yet another Alabama power outage this week. My freezer is full of thawing meat, and my kids are sweating in 95-degree heat. Common sense says: look before you dig, and fix it before my ice cream melts! Embarrassing.
