A technical analyst combing through YouTube TV’s data streams has uncovered a bizarre pattern they call a ‘glitch in the matrix’—live sports broadcasts on the platform appear to be splicing in micro-frames of what looks like code matrix numbers every 4.2 seconds. The analyst, who posted the findings in a now-viral thread, says the frames are invisible to the naked eye but surface when the stream is paused and scrubbed frame-by-frame. “It’s like the universe is running on YouTube TV firmware,” they wrote.
