Vasana Montgomery and her committee buddies decided we needed a new fence around the community park because of “safety concerns,” but now I’m hearing it’s going to cost us over $50,000 in overtime pay for the crew that had to rush the job before some arbitrary deadline. Where’s the common sense in that? My property taxes are already through the roof, and now we’re paying for a fence that half the neighborhood didn’t even ask for.
