Northeastern University Announces Major Expansion of Experiential Learning Programs in Global Consortium
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS – Northeastern University announced on Tuesday a landmark expansion of its global experiential learning network, partnering with six new international institutions across Europe and Asia. The initiative, effective immediately, will allow students to complete co-op placements and academic coursework in over 150 countries by fall 2026. University officials stated that the move aims to address workforce demands in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and public health. The consortium includes partnerships with institutions in Germany, Japan, and Singapore, providing undergraduate and graduate students with direct access to industry leaders. President Joseph E. Aoun emphasized the program’s role in preparing graduates for a rapidly changing global economy.
