So my niece, a freshman at Northeastern University, sends me this syllabus for a mandatory 'Wellness and Inclusion' class. Are you kidding me? It’s all about 'trigger warnings' and 'safe spaces' for 45 minutes, but they can’t teach her how to change a tire or balance a checkbook. I told her, 'Common sense, sweetie! You’re paying $60,000 a year to learn not to be offended?' The entire Facebook community group is exploding. Someone actually said the class includes a lesson on 'choosing the correct pronouns for a desk plant.' I can’t make this up. Maybe Northeastern should offer a degree in 'Emotional IKEA Assembly' next. Unbelievable.
