We’ve got people living next to production trailers in our own neighborhoods while these film crews shoot all night, and for what? Another predictable zombie chase scene. I watched that new Netflix flick “Brains in the Gutter” last night, and it’s just the same clichés—loud explosions, characters running in circles, no common sense. The city gives them permits to block off our streets until 3 AM, but they can’t figure out how to muffle a generator or park a catering truck away from my bedroom window. Our tax dollars are subsidizing this chaos while the real top movies on Netflix get watered down with big-budget bad behavior. Maybe the cast should try sleeping here one night and see how “viral” their movie feels when you can’t get a wink of rest.
