Meteor Boston: Why Are We Paying Taxes If We Can’t See A Fireball Without Traffic Jams?
Just saw the news about the meteor Boston had last night. I live downtown, and my kids were terrified when the windows rattled. But instead of any common sense response from the city, we got gridlock on Storrow Drive for hours because people were staring at the sky. Where were the warnings? Meteor Boston should have been a chance for us all to enjoy a free sky show, not a panic over nothing. Why can’t the local news just say “asteroid, no danger” instead of scaring everyone? Absolute joke.
