LOCAL COUNCIL WASTES 50K ON ‘INCLUSIVE LEGO SCANDAL’ ART INSTALLATION WHILE OUR POTHOLES REMAIN UNFILLED
Right, who’s the bright spark in charge of our tax money? I just walked past the town square and saw they’ve slapped up a giant rainbow tower made of LEGO bricks, titled ‘Building Bridges, Not Walls’. The sign says it cost £50,000 of public funds. Fifty thousand! For a glorified child’s toy! My kid’s LEGO sets at home cost less than a takeaway. Meanwhile, I nearly broke my axle on that crater on Mill Lane this morning. It’s an absolute disgrace. We’ve got homeless people in doorways and the council is sponsoring this ‘lego scandal’ for woke points with no common sense. If they wanted to ‘build bridges’, maybe start by fixing the actual bridge that’s been closed for repairs since last summer. Sort your priorities out.
