Invasive species show up at city council meeting, demand zoning changes, call residents ‘colonizers’.

Oh, here we go again. Another Monday, another group of people who just moved in from the city—or worse, another state—telling us how to live. They’re like an invasive species in our own community. They buy up the old farmhouse on the corner, rip out the native shrubs, put in a bamboo grove and a koi pond, and then have the audacity to complain about the smell of the neighbor’s compost pile. Common sense says you don’t move to the country and then try to turn it into a suburb with noise ordinances and HOA rules. They’re literally the invasive species our town was warned about. Now they want to change the zoning for ‘community gardens’ that are just excuses to compost our grass clippings? Get real.
