ilona maher’s ‘common sense’ comment about traffic cones sparks meltdown in local Facebook group
Well, there it is folks. Another day, another post from the city council about beautifying the downtown square, and all I see is a pile of orange traffic cones blocking the parking spots I’ve used for 20 years. Then Ilona Maher, of all people, chimes in on the community page saying, “Maybe if people used a bit of common sense and moved the cones after the parade, we wouldn’t need a task force.” Actually laughed out loud. So refreshing to see someone finally say what we’re all thinking instead of scheduling six more meetings about it. It’s not rocket science, people. Put the cone in the trunk, park your car, go home. Stop making everything a government project.
