I open Facebook this morning to see what my tax money is doing, and BAM, there’s an article about our local council spending fifty thousand pounds on a “modern art installation” in the park. I walk past that park every day. You know what it is? A single unmade bed, a pile of dirty laundry, and a half-eaten plate of beans on toast. And apparently, it’s meant to be a “meditation on the chaotic beauty of celebrity life,” inspired by none other than Callum Turner’s actual bedroom. I’ve seen more creativity in my kid’s school art project. Why don’t they use that cash to fix the potholes on Green Lane? It’s absolute madness.
