COMMON SENSE SAYS: Wisconsin Department of Transportation Just Wasted Our Tax Dollars on a 'Roundabout Art Installation' That's Already Causing Accidents
So I'm driving through Waukesha this morning, and what do I see? The Wisconsin Department of Transportation spent $47,000 on a giant metal sculpture in the middle of a roundabout. It's supposed to be 'traffic calming.' Guess what? Three fender benders in the first week because people are staring at the thing instead of watching for the guy in the pickup cutting you off. Use some common sense, people: if it ain't broke, don't fix it with taxpayer-funded lawn ornaments.
