Local Parents FURIOUS After unitedhealthcare pediatric prior authorization Denied Routine Procedure—Where’s the Common Sense?

I just heard from my neighbor that UnitedHealthcare denied a prior authorization for her kid’s tonsillectomy because the doctor didn’t fill out some obscure checkbox. Meanwhile, the kid can’t breathe right at night and is missing school. How is this common sense? We’re paying sky-high premiums for them to play paperwork games with our children’s health. Someone needs to step in and hold these insurance giants accountable before a simple infection becomes a tragedy. Who’s with me?
