Rob Mariano’s ‘Common Sense’ Parenting Advice Has This Small Town Ready to Call Child Services
You know, I’ve been living in this town for forty years, and I’ve never seen such nonsense. My neighbor, who’s usually a sensible guy, actually posted a video of that TV guy Rob Mariano lecturing us about how to raise kids. The man doesn’t even live here, and he’s telling us to stop helicopter parenting and just let our kids play in the creek. My kid came home soaking wet and covered in mud yesterday because some mother down the street thought it was ‘common sense’ to follow that advice. Now I’ve got a cold house and a bruised shin from tripping over a toy left by the gate. Where’s the common sense in that? We don’t need influencers from the jungle telling us how to run our neighborhoods.
