Hold my kombucha, folks. So, our fearless leader in New Jersey, Tom Kean Jr., decided to wade into the culture war swamp by publicly roasting a local school board for... get this... teaching critical thinking. Apparently, letting kids ask "why" is a personal attack on his delicate sensibilities. He tweeted a novel-length thread demanding they teach "facts" instead, which is rich coming from a guy whose biggest legislative achievement so far is probably a strongly worded letter about a traffic light.
TL;DR: Politician gets big mad at school for doing its job; internet collectively rolls eyes so hard we create a new weather pattern. The comments are a dumpster fire of boomers yelling "woke" and Gen Z kids explaining that, yes, actually, history involves more than just naming presidents.
I swear, if this man had his way, textbooks would just say "Everything's fine, now go work at a hedge fund." Thoughts and prayers for his staffer who has to explain what a meme is.
