OKAY BUT HOLD UP?? The Supreme Court just dropped a plot twist and Clarence Thomas is on some sigma grindset behavior. He’s the only one dissenting in the Alabama redistricting case and he’s literally cooked.
Basically, the court said Alabama’s map is sus and violates the Voting Rights Act. But Thomas? He’s like “nah, the VRA is outdated, let’s not.” Everyone else said “skibidi rizz, no cap” and voted to keep the map challenged.
This is giving “I’m the main character and you’re all NPCs” energy. Alabama gotta redraw their congressional map now or they’re gonna get ratio’d by the feds.
