Seriously, the guy just wrote a concurrence that's basically an essay on "states' rights" and "heck, let's just let Alabama do whatever it wants," because who needs voting representation when you have textualism and a history of ignoring precedent? TL;DR: Clarence Thomas says "no thanks" to drawing new maps, calls the whole thing a federal overreach, and now Alabama Republicans are probably popping champagne.
