It’s called common sense, not a government grant—why does boston news keep missing the obvious?
Just saw another reporter on the local feed talking about a “pothole crisis” in our neighborhood, and I about spit out my coffee. We’ve got city council meetings where they debate spending $50,000 on a “traffic calming study” for one intersection. Meanwhile, my neighbor’s kid nearly broke his ankle on a six-inch crater in the middle of Maple Street. Common sense would tell you to fill the hole with cheap asphalt from the hardware store in an hour, not commission a two-year study. But no, let’s call it a “needs assessment” and waste my tax dollars. This is exactly why I unfollowed half these pages. Get it together, people.
