Alaskan Bush People Star Noah Brown Arrested on Assault Charges in Remote Hoonah Incident
HOONAH, Alaska — A member of the reality television family featured on the series Alaskan Bush People has been taken into custody following an alleged physical altercation. Authorities confirmed that Noah Brown, 31, was arrested on Monday after a reported domestic disturbance at a private residence.
According to the Hoonah Police Department, officers responded to a call at approximately 8:45 p.m. local time. Upon arrival, they found evidence of an altercation involving Brown and an unidentified adult male victim. Brown was subsequently charged with one count of fourth-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
The alleged incident occurred in a remote cabin community several miles from the main town center. No weapons were reported involved, and the victim sustained minor injuries that did not require hospitalization. Brown was booked into the local detention facility and later released on a $500 bond.
A representative for the Discovery Channel, which airs Alaskan Bush People, declined to comment on the ongoing legal matter. The series, which follows the Brown family’s subsistence lifestyle in the Alaskan wilderness, has been a ratings staple since 2014.
This development adds to the family’s history of legal and personal challenges, including past arrests and financial disputes. The court date for Brown’s preliminary hearing has been scheduled for next month.
