These so-called survivalists on TV have been living in a fancy lodge with generators and backup food supplies, while real Alaskans are out here hauling water in minus 40 weather. I saw one episode where they complained about a leaky roof—my cabin's roof has been leaking for three years, and you don't see me whining on national television. Maybe they should trade their reality show for a real trapline and see how long they last without a camera crew.
