I can’t believe we’ve got people defending this. Another street in our city is completely torn up for ‘repairs’ that have been going on for six months, and now I see a crew putting brand new paving stones over brand new paving stones because one guy’s shovel slipped. My tax dollars hard at work. Meanwhile, my neighbour’s son just got back from Romania for a holiday and said even their smallest villages have roads smoother than our main drag here. Common sense says you fix the potholes, not waste time making a molehill out of a mountain of taxpayer cash.
