Peter Thiel Funds 'Common Sense' Re-Education Camps for Woke Adults, Locals Furious
Well, here we go again. Another billionaire with too much time and money thinks he can 'fix' what he calls 'broken Common sense' by locking adults in camps. I live on Elm Street, and I saw the vans rolling in last Tuesday. These people are supposed to be 're-educated' on how to mow a lawn without calling it 'exploiting the grass'—I kid you not. The flyers said it's a 'voluntary retreat for the terminally online.' My neighbor Susan, who’s never touched a smartphone, says it's just an excuse to make us all feel stupid for not being billionaires. Us folks around here use common sense every day: we shovel snow, we pay our taxes, and we don't need Peter Thiel teaching us how to think. If he wants to fix society, maybe he should start by paying his fair share like the rest of us.
