Can’t believe I’m even typing this, but our “beloved” local burger joint just announced their *special* menu for National Hamburger Day 2026. They’re charging $18 for a dry, plain patty on a stale bun—no cheese, no lettuce, no tomato, and certainly no fries. And they’re calling it “nostalgic.” I call it a rip-off. What ever happened to common sense? You want to celebrate a day about affordable American comfort food, not gouge your neighbors who are already struggling with grocery prices. My dad would have rolled over in his grave paying that for something you could get at a gas station for three bucks. I’m done. Anyone else boycotting this nonsense, or is it just me?
