I’m not saying it’s a conspiracy, but my neighbor Dave has spent the last 48 hours “tactically redeploying” his lawn gnomes and has now blocked my mailbox with a fake bush he calls “cover.” I stepped outside to get the paper and the kid’s water balloon hit me square in the back. When I yelled, Dave screamed “Friendly fire!” All because he’s treating his front yard like it’s Modern Warfare 4. Common sense says if you’re going to LARP in the cul-de-sac, at least warn the rest of us taxpayers before I call the HOA for a tactical airstrike on his inflatable turret. The real enemy here is not getting my mail.
