Dallas Apartment Explosion Just Proves Common Sense Ain’t So Common Anymore
You’ve got to be kidding me. Another “dallas apartment explosion” in the news, and I’m supposed to feel sorry for anybody? I’m sitting here reading the comments on the city’s post, and my blood pressure is through the roof. It’s not a secret—if you smell gas, you call the company, not light a candle or flip a breaker. It’s called common sense. But no, we’ve got people playing electrician in their units at 3 AM because they’re too cheap to call maintenance. Now half a block is on craters, and my property tax is going up to pay for the cleanup. The nerve of the city calling it a “tragedy.” There are kids that can’t go to school because of this mess, and a stray cat that used to greet me every morning is toast. So spare me the thoughts and prayers. Learn how to use a phone and your nose before we all suffer for your mistakes.
