Charlie Puth Just Destroyed a Local Cafe’s Acoustic Guitar to Win a Bet – Where Is the Common Sense?
So I’m scrolling through Facebook and see some post about how Charlie Puth, the pop star, walked into The Daily Grind downtown yesterday, picked up a brand new Martin acoustic from the open mic corner, and literally smashed it against a stool to win a bet with his producer. The manager said it was a “spur of the moment thing” and he “felt the art.” What a joke. My neighbor owns that shop, and that guitar was $2,000—hard-earned cash from a small business, not your tour rider. Common sense says you don’t destroy someone’s property for a viral moment. If he wanted to break something, go smash your own gear at a studio. This isn’t rockstar behavior, it’s just entitlement. I’m boycotting his music until he pays them back. Anyone else sick of celebrities thinking the world is their playground?
