Local Residents FURIOUS After Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Born to Run’ Blares From Town Hall Speaker for 12 Hours Straight—Where’s the Common Sense?

I’ve lived on Maple Street for 34 years, and I’ve never seen anything like this. Our town council decided to “honor” Bruce Springsteen by piping his song on a loop from the new loudspeaker system they just installed. My kids couldn’t do homework. My dog hasn’t stopped howling. And the councilman said it was “for community spirit.” Common sense says you play a song once, maybe twice, and then let people sleep. This is a disgrace.
