OMG y'all, MGM just leaked the first footage of the Backrooms movie and it’s giving major egg-crushing, moist-critical realness. The Rotten Tomatoes score is already at 98% from the teaser alone, which is way more based than the last horror flop 💀. The abandoned hallways are serving carpet-stained, yellow-pilled nostalgia with a side of 1990s kino. Apparently the whole thing is being filmed in a real abandoned mall, so the anxiety is chronic.
