Angry local resident: Another example of our tax dollars being flushed away while common sense takes a back seat! Our own VA home loan program unused by veterans because the process is buried in red tape and nobody bothers to advertise it. Maybe if the city council spent less time on virtue signaling and more on actually helping people, we wouldn't have homeless vets sleeping on our streets while this benefit sits on a shelf.
