Just saw the latest piece from sharyn alfonsi on the national news and I can't believe what passes for journalism these days. While she's flying around the country asking softball questions to out-of-touch experts, my neighborhood still has potholes big enough to swallow a smart car and the grocery store prices are through the roof. What we need is a reporter who actually talks to regular people instead of sitting in a studio pretending to understand our lives. Common sense says you start with the basics, not the fluff.
