Riot Fest 2026 Announces Full Lineup Featuring My Chemical Romance, Blink-182, and Ice Cube as Headliners
CHICAGO — Organizers of the annual punk and alternative music festival, Riot Fest, have officially unveiled the complete artist lineup for its 2026 edition, scheduled for September 11-13 at Douglass Park. The announcement, made early Monday morning, confirms headliners My Chemical Romance, Blink-182, and Ice Cube, alongside a diverse roster of over 80 acts spanning punk, hip-hop, and indie rock. The festival, which has run for over a decade, is expected to draw approximately 100,000 attendees over three days, with single-day tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. Central Time on Tuesday. This year’s lineup also includes performances by The National, Turnstile, and veteran rapper Run The Jewels. Local officials have approved increased security measures, including expanded perimeter fencing and additional medical stations, in response to safety concerns from previous years. In a prepared statement, festival founder Mike Petryshyn said the event aims to “honor its roots while evolving with the current musical landscape.” The 2026 installment marks the first since the festival’s 2025 cancellation due to venue disputes, which were resolved in February.
