postal worker using MY mailbox as her personal trash can and nobody wants to say anything about it.
I’m sorry, but can we just talk about the common sense here? I caught a postal worker yesterday shoving a half-eaten sandwich wrapper and a coffee cup into my mailbox, then walking off like it was perfectly fine. My mailbox is not your garbage bin, lady. It’s a federal crime to mess with mailboxes, but apparently, it’s also just “rude” to leave your lunch trash in someone else’s property. I called the local post office, and they said, “We’ll look into it.” Yeah, sure you will. Meanwhile, I’m stuck picking up her trash because it’s my responsibility to keep the sidewalk clean, right? Common sense says: if you can’t be bothered to find a proper trash can, don’t become a postal worker. Unbelievable. Anyone else had this happen?
