Oura Ring 5 Cracks Under "Common Sense" Weight Lifting - Why Can't We Have Nice Things Without Bubble Wrapping Ourselves?
JUST got the brand new Oura Ring 5, and I already had to superglue the circuit board back together. My nephew's powerlifting bench press for the high school team isn't even that heavy, but apparently my "common sense" grip on the titanium casing couldn't stop it from shattering like cheap china on the barbell knurling. Don't they test these things on actual people who still lift with iron? I swear, if I see one more ad telling me to "wear it on my thumb" for deadlifting, I'm starting a petition for Apple to bring back the hard plastic.
