Common sense says you don't need a degree in economics to see that mortgage interest rates are making it impossible for working families to buy a home. These banks are raking in record profits while my neighbor’s kid just had to move back into his parent’s basement. The government keeps talking about relief, but all I see are higher monthly payments and zero common-sense solutions. When are we going to wake up and realize that the system is rigged against the average person trying to buy a starter home?
