**Local Woman's Entire Personality Becomes 'Mina the Hollower' Obsession, Baffles Friends, Family, and God**
r/AITAH My roommate has literally become a one-woman hype train for a game that isn't even out yet.
TL;DR for the uninitiated: *Mina the Hollower* is a retro-styled indie game from the *Shovel Knight* devs. Looks cool, right? Yeah, my roommate Mina (yes, that's her actual name, which is already a cosmic-level cringe coincidence) has decided this unreleased tech demo is her entire identity.
She's got a "Hollower" tattoo. She's learning pixel art just to draw herself as the "canon" version of Mina. She's changed her Discord status to "Currently AWAKENING THE NIGHT" and sends me 8AM texts like "Do you think the Hollowers have a pantheon? I've been manifesting it."
I asked her if she'd even played a demo. She said she "doesn't need to" because the "aesthetic is a spiritual experience."
AITA for buying her a $20 steam gift card and telling her to "go touch a Dig Dug machine for once"? Because her response was "That's not a Hollower joke, and I'm disappointed in you."
She's not a fan. She's a *hollow shell of a human being* propped up by a 30-second trailer and a fever dream. 💀
