**"LEAR THIS: Stop Making a Scene, Karen!"**
Another day, another "Learn to Read" protest blocking our main drag. But get this—one of the organizers showed up this morning dressed like a character from a Shakespeare play, waving a sign that said, "LEAR-ning is a right."
I’m all for education, but use some common sense. The sign was upside down. And she was screaming at a school bus full of kids about "Cordelia's betrayal." The bus driver had to ask her to step back because she was crying actual tears into a paper crown.
The sad part? The city spent $50,000 on new literacy banners last month, but nobody reads them because they're in iambic pentameter. Happy Friday, folks.
