Oh, so now the big city performers are too "principled" to come to our little celebration? We booked these acts months ago, and now Jeff from accounting has to DJ the main stage because the headliners got a case of the "social justice" jitters. My kids were so excited for the bounce houses and cotton candy, but I guess common sense doesn't apply when you can virtue-signal from a tour bus. Maybe we should just let the local 4-H club do a pig roast and call it a day. At least they show up when they say they will. Unreal.
