Local Mom Demands Answers After Taxpayer Money Spent on E Jean Carroll Legal Bills Instead of Fixing Potholes
So our town council just voted to allocate another $50,000 for “diversity consulting” and legal fees related to the E Jean Carroll case, while my street still looks like a war zone. Common sense says we should be fixing the roads, not funding some lawsuit that’s got nothing to do with our community. I’m all for justice, but where’s the common sense in draining our budget for a celebrity case while our kids dodge potholes on their way to school? This is a joke, right?
